Ballooning in Bagan

Early in the morning, before sunrise, you will be collected from your hotel and taken to one of our carefully selected launch sites, which will give you the very best views of the thousands of temples and stupas that litter the plains of Bagan. As you arrive on the site, our dedicated team welcomes you with freshly brewed coffee or tea, croissants and pastries.

You will be escorted to your balloon basket where your pilot gives you a thorough safety briefing before commencing to inflate the balloon. Very soon it’s time to climb on board, rise gently into the morning skies, and greet the sunrise. Slowly and magnificently Bagan reveals its secrets. The breathtaking site of stupa after stupa, in their hundreds, appearing through the delicate mist is quite unforgettable. Local children wave excitedly as you pass overhead and the traditional lifestyle and housing of the friendly and hospitable Myanmar people are revealed.

After a safe landing, you are invited to celebrate, with your fellow passengers, as your pilot pops open a bottle of chilled sparkling wine and personally signs your flight certificates.

Ballooning in Inle

Ballooning in Mandalay

The new capital city site was 66 km2 (25.5 sq mi) in an area, surrounded by four rivers. The plan called for a 144-square block grid patterned citadel, anchored by a 16 square block royal palace compound at the center by Mandalay Hill.The 1020-acre (413-hectare) citadel was surrounded by four 2,032 m (6,666 ft) long walls and a moat 64 m (210 ft) wide, 4.6 m (15 ft) deep. At intervals of 169 m (555 ft) along the wall, were turrets with gold-tipped spires for watchmen. The walls had three gates on each side, and five bridges to cross the moat.

Ballooning in Pindaya

Located next to the town of Pindaya, Shan State, Burma (Myanmar) are a Buddhist pilgrimage site and a tourist attraction located on a limestone ridge in the Myelat region ( the border region between Shan highlands and Ayyerwaddy plains ). There are three caves on the ridge which runs north-south, but only the southern cave can be entered and explored. It is not known whether the other two penetrate for any extended distance into the hillside.
