Regarding the boat trip between Mandalay and Bagan, please be informed that we normally arrange only Mandalay to Bagan down stream because up stream ( Bagan- Mandalay ) trip takes one full day.

The other point need to be mentioned is that only the first two hours is very interesting and after that it’s a bit boring. So some clients said its not worth to spend the whole day on it. In addition due to the irregular river flow, the arrival time to Bagan is not regular. Normally, the boat departs Mandalay at 6:00 am and arrive Bagan at 15:30 but sometimes arrival can be 20:00 due to the irregular flow of the current.  During summer ( from Feb to June ), due to shallow water, the arrival can be midnight!
